Summary
  • We reduce toil for commonplace incidents by making it easy to automate them away.

Our customers can use this to mitigate issues at the moment, collect diagnostics to provide engineering for root-cause and perform proactive maintenance.

  • Not everything is automatable. So we also provide notebooks that prepopulate with the diagnostics for an incident and provide recipes for repair.

This allows customers to safely expand the people able to address issues without escalating.

  • For new issues that come up, Shoreline provides:- real-time visibility to your fleet with per-second metrics, and- the ability to run Linux commands in parallel across any subset of the fleet in roughly constant time.

That helps on-call engineers find "needle-in-a-haystack" issues in their complex multi-cloud, microservice environments – quickly because the time to diagnose matters a lot when you have a service that's impaired or unavailable.

How to Reduce Alarm Noise
